LARGE EVO PL (WiSAN-YEE1 PL) is the air-cooled polyvalent heat pump for outdoor installation, with full-inverter technology and R32 refrigerant.
We designed this innovative solution to meet the needs of medium-sized installations, and offer energy efficiency and application flexibility.
LARGE EVO PL is the ideal solution for buildings requiring simultaneous heating and cooling. Its polyvalent heat pump technology, with two independent heat exchangers (one hot and one cold), allows you to recover energy that would otherwise be lost to the atmosphere.

Best-in-class energy efficiency
LARGE EVO PL achieves SCOP values of up to 4.17 and SEER values of up to 4.65. This seasonal efficiency allows it to exceed the strictest energy standards.
Application flexibility and quiet operation
Thanks to its wide capacity range and three selectable acoustic levels, LARGE EVO PL is perfectly suited to different types of applications, both commercial and industrial:
- Acoustic version with compressor soundproofing (SC):
standard version, capacity range 52 - 238 kW; - Silenced acoustic version (LN):
- 4 dB(A) compared to SC version, capacity range 48 - 221 kW; - Super-silenced acoustic version (EN):
- 8 dB(A) compared to SC version, capacity range 44 - 204 kW.
Environmental sustainability
LARGE EVO PL uses the refrigerant R32, with a GWP (Global Warming Potential) of 675, which is about -70% compared to the traditional refrigerant R410A. This means a significantly reduced environmental footprint.
Top technology
LARGE EVO PL is equipped with rotary/scroll compressors with inverter technology, high-efficiency EC fans and continuous speed control, copper/aluminium coils with hydrophilic treatment as standard.
These technologies make it possible to:
- Modulate power continuously, optimising energy consumption in all operating conditions;
- Provide the system with only the energy it needs, following the load even under very high partialisation conditions;
- Ensure high heat exchange efficiency and rapid evaporation of condensate, thus reducing operating costs;
- Ensure zero inrush current consumption.
Maximum adaptability
Capacity modulation from 100 % to 20 %, the double refrigeration circuit, and numerous options and accessories are able to meet the needs of every installation.
Extended operating limits
The main purpose in the design was to optimise heating performance, so LARGE EVO PL is able to guarantee:
HEATING OPERATION
- Outlet water temperature to the hot-side exchanger up to 60°C, -4°C to +30°C outdoor air temperature;
- Outlet water temperature at the hot-side exchanger up to 55°C, -9°C to +40°C outdoor air temperature;
- Outlet water temperature to the hot-side exchanger up to 45°C, -20°C to +45°C outdoor air temperature.
COOLING OPERATION
- Outlet water temperature at the cold-side exchanger from 5°C to 20°C, with outdoor air temperature varying from -15°C to +48°C.
SIMULTANEOUS COOLING AND HEATING OPERATION
- Outlet water temperature at the hot-side exchanger up to 60°C with simultaneous production of chilled water from 5°C to 20°C at the outlet of the cold-side exchanger.
Cascade management
Up to 7 units can be connected in a local network via the ECOShare system, reaching a maximum system capacity of 1660 kW.
Optimised defrosting cycles
Adjusting the unit in winter optimises defrost cycles to meet the system's cooling demand, avoiding operating changes and loss of efficiency, and the hydrophilic treatment applied to the coils facilitates water drainage, making defrost cycles more effective.
